Counselling & Therapy Services for Adults in Alberta

Supporting your healing, clarity, and emotional well-being

Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn next. If that’s you, you’re not alone. My role is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you. I provide trauma-informed counselling and therapy for adults in Whitecourt, Edmonton, and online across Alberta, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, burnout, and nervous-system–based healing.

Concerns I Support in Counselling & Therapy

I provide counselling for adults (18+) experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, and worry

  • Trauma, PTSD, and complex trauma (CPTSD)

  • Burnout & chronic overwhelm

  • Low self-esteem, self-worth, or perfectionism

  • Grief & loss

  • Depression & emotional heaviness

  • Anger and emotional reactivity

  • Relationship challenges & communication difficulties

  • Personal growth, life transitions, and identity concerns

  • Sexuality-related concerns (specializing in work with women)

If you’re navigating more than one of these, that’s completely okay — many clients are.

My Approach to Counselling

My counselling approach is trauma-informed, somatic, and evidence-based, designed to support adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Therapy is most effective when it feels safe, collaborative, and attuned to your needs.

My approach includes:

Trauma-Informed Care

Your nervous system’s cues and capacity matter. We go gently, pace sessions together, and ensure you feel grounded and in control throughout.

Somatic & Mind-Body Work

We explore how stress and trauma live in the body, using techniques that help you reconnect with your natural stability and inner resilience.

Evidence-informed Modalities

I integrate methods such as somatic experiencing, mindfulness-based strategies, emotion-focused approaches, prolonged exposure, and attachment-informed work.

Client-Centered Collaboration

You bring your story and inner wisdom. I bring training, tools, and support. We work together — at your pace — toward clarity and meaningful change.

What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is a chance to:

  • share what’s been going on

  • get to know my style

  • ask questions

  • explore whether we’re a good fit

There’s no pressure to dive into anything too deep right away. We’ll focus on understanding your goals, what you need most right now, and how therapy can support you. This first session is especially helpful if you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, trauma, burnout, or major life transitions.
