Supporting Alberta’s Agricultural Communities Through New Training in 2026
Counselling Office in Whitecourt, Alberta
I’m pleased to share that I’ve been accepted into the 2026 Alberta Ag-Informed Therapist Network.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be completing Agriculture Informed Therapy (AIT) training, a program designed to deepen understanding of the experiences of individuals and families connected to agriculture in Alberta. This includes both the realities of rural and agricultural life, as well as the strengths and resilience that are often part of these communities.
As a psychologist based in Whitecourt, I work with clients across Alberta both in-person and virtually. I’m always looking for opportunities to continue learning so I can better support the people I work with.
This training is part of that ongoing commitment. I’m looking forward to learning alongside other mental health professionals who are also focused on supporting agricultural communities, and bringing that learning into my practice in a meaningful way.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and I look forward to sharing more as I move through the training.
